Generally we prefer to work with the architectural traditions of a place or country, not against them. This applies to their material content as well which helps to keep local craft traditions alive.

We follow the well-tried rules of harmonious proportion in everything and do not often embrace minimalism for its own sake, which seems to us rather samey and insipid. Our buildings are designed to outlast current fashion.
